去年6月，Double Fine公司在Xbox上发布了精品第三人称射击和塔防的混合体游戏《铁旅》（Iron Brigade），现在该公司打算把这款游戏带到PC上。这个游戏原名叫《防御工事》（Trenched），Double Fine公司计划于8月13日把这个以现实的第一次世界大战背景风格游戏搬到PC和Steam平台上。本作使用塔防类游戏中少见的第三人称射击作为攻击方式，并大量结合角色扮演游戏的升级要素，让玩家通过等级解开新武器的使用权，以及利用金币来提升各部位能力。除了支持单人战役玩法外，也允许最多四名玩家合作闯关。
